Tiller Measurement and Adjustment

Correct tiller is achieved when the distance between the nose of the cam is equal on both ends of the bow. Measure the tiller at nose of cam as shown.

 

 

 

 

  1. Loosen timing system locking hub (fig.2).
  2. Turn weight bolt clockwise to raise cam toward string. Use small ruler to compare ends of the bow (fig. 14). If you desire less draw weight, loosen (or turn counter clockwise) the weight bolt on the end of the bow where the cam is closest to the string.
  3. CAUTION Retighten locking hub. This screw is designed to be very tight. Use T handle wrench for best result.
